WINNIPEG, MB: Shine Dental, a dental clinic serving Winnipeg, has announced the addition of dentist Dr. Josh Levesque to its team.
Dr. Levesque spent part of his dental training completing a northern rotation in a remote Indigenous community, where he gained valuable experience delivering care in an underserved setting. This opportunity deepened his commitment to equitable access to oral healthcare and reinforced his dedication to providing compassionate, community-centred treatment.
During dental school, Dr. Levesque was actively involved in research in pediatric dentistry, with a focus on silver diamine fluoride—a minimally invasive treatment option that has shown promise in managing early childhood caries. His interest in evidence-based, preventive approaches reflects a broader goal of improving long-term outcomes for young patients.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Levesque is an avid cyclist and tennis player. His active lifestyle mirrors his approach to practice: Disciplined, balanced, and always striving toward growth.
