Giving back to our community is a tenet of the Shine Dental ethos. Dr. Brent Wong, owner of Shine Dental, and his wife, Wendy, began Shine The Light in 2005 as a way to bridge the gap between people who want to help and those who need it most.

Since its inception, Shine The Light has helped build over 100 homes and brings free dental and medical care to those in need in the Dominican Republic. As the organization has developed, they’ve added skilled trade training and far•o Supply Co, which focuses on strengthening economic independence for trainees and artisans in DR.
